Type specimen: UF 271625, a mandible (right partial mandible with p3–m3). Its type locality is El Lirio Norte, which is in a Hemingfordian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Culebra Formation of Panama.

Ecology: ground dwelling browser

Distribution: found only at El Lirio Norte
