Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: UCM 38741, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Nidulites Beds. 1.5 miles southeast of Strasburg Junction, which is in a Turinian offshore shelf limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Ordovician of United States (4: Virginia collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
