Type specimen: UCMP 1468. Its type locality is Cache Peak (P-3643), which is in a Hemingfordian/Barstovian terrestrial horizon in the Bopesta Formation of California.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Cache Peak (P-3643)
