Sister taxon: Klallamornis abyssa

Type specimen: LACM 129405, a limb element (left tarsometatarsus with restored lateral portion of trochlea metatarsi IV). Its type locality is Jansen Creek Mbr, Makah Fm - Jansen Creek, which is in a Bartonian/Chattian deep-water sandstone/conglomerate in the Makah Formation of Washington.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Jansen Creek Mbr, Makah Fm - Jansen Creek
