Type specimen: AMNH FARB 30834, a partial skeleton (Partial skull and articulated cervical series). Its type locality is Ghost Ranch Quarry, which is in a Rhaetian crevasse splay siltstone/conglomerate in the Chinle Formation of New Mexico.

Distribution: found only at Ghost Ranch Quarry
