Type specimen: MNC-TA0924, a skeleton (Articulated skeleton and integument). Its type locality is Chemnitz petrified forest (Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf), which is in a Sakmarian/Artinskian dry floodplain tuff in the Leukersdorf Formation of Germany.
