Type specimen: UCMP 14259, a test. Its type locality is San Gregorio Beach, which is in a Pliocene marine sandstone in the Purisima Formation of California.
Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at San Gregorio Beach
