Type specimen: NMNS000933-F034397, a skeleton (a nearly complete skeleton exposed in dorsal view). Its type locality is Dawazisaurus-type locality, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in the Guanling Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Dawazisaurus-type locality
