Type specimen: UMZC 2014.10, a tooth (left pterygoid tooth plate preserved as a natural mould). Its type locality is Ctenodus roberti-type locality, which is in a Tournaisian terrestrial horizon in the Ballagan Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Ctenodus roberti-type locality
