Type specimen: MGGC.22009, a shell. Its type locality is Argille Azzurre, Stirone River [Lugagnano Fm], which is in a Zanclean deep-water mudstone in the Lugagnano Formation of Italy.

Ecology: facultatively mobile deep infaunal chemosymbiotic

Distribution: found only at Argille Azzurre, Stirone River [Lugagnano Fm]
