Belongs to Aulacephalodon according to S. H. Haughton 1965
Sister taxa: Aulacephalodon bainii, Aulacephalodon cadlei
Type specimen: RC 24, a skull. Its type locality is Wimbledon, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial horizon in South Africa.
Ecology: herbivore
Distribution: found only at Wimbledon
