Type specimen: HGM NR09-11-14, a partial skeleton (incomplete carapace articulated with an almost complete plastron, second to eighth cervical vertebrae, dorsal vertebrals, pectoral and pelvic girdles and limb b). Its type locality is Xiaguan commune, which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian floodplain mudstone/conglomerate in the Gaogou Formation of China.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at Xiaguan commune
