Sister taxa: Walshina esmaraldensis, Walshina shifrae

Type specimen: CM 15635, a tooth (isolated [upper] M1). Its type locality is Badwater Locality 5 Front, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Wagon Bed ("Tepee Trail") Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal insectivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of Canada (1: Saskatchewan collection), United States (5: Wyoming)
