Sister taxa: Leptopharsa antica, Leptopharsa evsyunini, Leptopharsa frater, Leptopharsa poinari, Leptopharsa tacanae
Type specimen: CEHI COL-TING-01, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Colombian copal (Heiss coll), which is in a Holocene terrestrial amber in Colombia.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Colombian copal (Heiss coll)
