Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: IVPP V2034, a skeleton (A single individual consisting of a broken skull and an uncrushed mandible, still articulated, but both lacking the rostra1 region). Its type locality is Sorbitorhynchus-type locality, which is in an Emsian marine limestone/marl in the Dale Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Sorbitorhynchus-type locality
