Type specimen: ANU 49213, a partial skeleton (an incomplete specimen with part of the skull preserved). Its type locality is Paddys Valley, which is in a Frasnian intrashelf/intraplatform reef lime mudstone/shale in the Gogo Formation of Australia.

Distribution: found only at Paddys Valley
