Type specimen: BYU 20707, a partial skeleton (the left maxilla fused with the jugal, the right maxilla, the right nasal, the fused frontoparietals, the right and left mandibular rami, the right terminal win). Its type locality is Saints & Sinners Quarry, BYU loc. 1442, which is in a Triassic/Jurassic interdune sandstone/claystone in the Nugget Sandstone Formation of Utah.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Saints & Sinners Quarry, BYU loc. 1442
