Sister taxa: Cretolbia hukawnga, Cretolbia zhuodei
Type specimen: NIGP168837, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
