Type specimen: PVL 4800, an osteoderm (46 placas fijas y un fragmento de placa móvil, todas ellas de un mismo ejemplar). Its type locality is Northern region of Cajon Valley, which is in a Huayquerian terrestrial horizon in the El Morterito Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of Argentina (1)
