Sister taxon: Sigmakainella longilira
Type specimen: CPC 9717a, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Gola Beds B750, which is in a Franconian/Trempealeauan marine lime mudstone in Australia.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Cambrian of Australia (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
