Sister taxon: Paraconlinoceras leonense
Type specimen: Its type locality is J68. Hill 0.4 miles southeast from mouth of Indidura Cañón, Sierra de Santa Ana, which is in a Cenomanian marine limestone/shale in the Indidura Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: there are no occurrences of Paraconlinoceras barcusi in the database
