Type specimen: UKM-LGS Bp 1/6, a shell. Its type locality is Outcrop B, Oued Tounkira, which is in an Oxfordian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Argiles de Saïda Formation of Algeria.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Outcrop B, Oued Tounkira
