Type specimen: CBM-PV 686, a skeleton. Its type locality is Yoshinoda, which is in a Pleistocene pond mudstone/siltstone in the Kiyokawa Formation of Japan.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at Yoshinoda
