Type specimen: NZGS DC 232, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Milburn Quarry, which is in a Chattian carbonate limestone in the Milburn Limestone Formation of New Zealand.

Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Milburn Quarry
