Type specimen: USNM 362472, a mandible (Right Mandible with i1 and p4-m2). Its type locality is Canyon Ferry Reservoir 24LC16, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial horizon in Montana.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of United States (1: South Dakota collection)

• Eocene of United States (1: Montana)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
