Belongs to Cratomyia according to Q. Q. Zhang and B. Wang 2019
Sister taxa: Cratomyia cretacica, Cratomyia macrorrhyncha, Cratomyia mimetica
Type specimen: NIGP169579, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection)
