Type specimens:

  • Caririchnium lotus: QII-O20-RP2 and RM2 (formerly QJGM-T37–3), a footprint (A complete manus-pes set of natural-mold tracks). Its type locality is Lotus Fortress tracksite, QII, which is in a Barremian/Albian terrestrial sandstone/mudstone in the Jiaguan Formation of China.
  • Iguanodonipus cuadrupedae: Its type locality is El Frontal tracksite, F-1, which is in a Berriasian fluvial-lacustrine siltstone/siltstone in the Huérteles Formation of Spain.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of China (3 collections), South Korea (1), Spain (5)

Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
