Type specimen: Yunnan Institute of Geological Science, 73098. Its type locality is Daigu, Mengzi, which is in an Emsian marine horizon in the Pochiao Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Daigu, Mengzi
