Type specimen: Xi'an Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, L321. Its type locality is Dangduogou, Tewo, which is in an Emsian marine horizon in the Dangduogou Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Dangduogou, Tewo
