Type specimen: Geological Museum of China, Beijing, IVy0345. Its type locality is North of Weixi, which is in a Rhaetian marine horizon in the Maichuqing Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at North of Weixi
