Type specimen: Chengdu Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, bi2230. Its type locality is Gaosi, Lezhi, which is in a Jurassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Penglaizhen Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Gaosi, Lezhi
