Sister taxa: Lactarius amplus, Lactarius atlanticus, Lactarius primigenius, Lactarius pusillus, Lactarius sigmoidalis, Lactarius tumulatus
Type specimen: IRSNB P 5958, an otolith. Its type locality is Nanggulan, northwest, which is in a Bartonian marine horizon in the Nanggulan Formation of Indonesia.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Nanggulan, northwest
