Type specimen: USNM 324487, a claw. Its type locality is Cercado de Mao - Bluff No. 3 [Cercado Fm], which is in a Tortonian offshore claystone in the Cercado Formation of the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Cercado de Mao - Bluff No. 3 [Cercado Fm]
