- Phoberomys praecursor: MACN-Pv 9026, a set of teeth (left p4). Its type locality is Parana, Pueblo Brugo to Diamante, Ituzaingo Fm., which is in a Huayquerian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Ituzaingo Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Parana, Pueblo Brugo to Diamante, Ituzaingo Fm. ( of Argentina)
