Type specimens:

  • Washakius insignis: ANSP 10332, a mandible (portion of right ramus of mandible with M3 and M3)
  • Shoshonius laurae: AMNH 55672. Its type locality is Morrow Creek Locality 10, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (42: Wyoming collections)

Total: 42 collections each including a single occurrence
