Type specimen: Geological Survey Ottawa, No. 8776. Its type locality is Lima Gully, Pardonet Hill, which is in a Norian marine horizon in Canada.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Lima Gully, Pardonet Hill
