Type specimen: Its type locality is Groom Range, Carrara Fm, Pyramid Shale Mbr(USGS 3546-CO), which is in a Delamaran shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Carrara Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Groom Range, Carrara Fm, Pyramid Shale Mbr. (USGS 3546-CO)
