Sister taxa: Cryptospira (Euryentome), Marginella (Cryptospira) birmanica, Marginella (Cryptospira) dactylus, Marginella (Cryptospira) ventricosa
Type specimen: WAM 12.87, a shell. Its type locality is Walpole, north, which is in a Priabonian offshore siltstone in the Werillup Formation of Australia.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Walpole, north
