Type specimen: MB.M.5178.1. Its type locality is Quebrada Asientos, Atacama, which is in a Margaritatus open shallow subtidal horizon in Chile.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Quebrada Asientos, Atacama
