Sister taxa: Sympherobius completus, Sympherobius irinae, Sympherobius siriae

Type specimen: NHMUK II.2973, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Saltmead Ledge (Yule collection), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bembridge Marls Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Saltmead Ledge (Yule collection)
