Type specimen: NHMUK In.43411, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll)
