Type specimen: MLP 66-XII-13-3, a mandible (left mandible with canine, p1, p3–m2). Its type locality is Base of Arroyo Guamini, which is in a Huayquerian terrestrial horizon in the Epecuen Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Base of Arroyo Guamini
