Type specimen: SMNS 70339, a shell. Its type locality is Nusplingen quarry, which is in a Kimmeridgian open shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Nusplingen Limestone Formation of Germany.
Ecology: fast-moving nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Nusplingen quarry
