Type specimen: SDSNH 25958, a shell. Its type locality is SDNHM Loc. 3162-A - approximately 6.1 m below a calcareous marker bed, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian marginal marine /sandstone in the Point Loma Formation of California.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Mexico (3 collections), United States (4: California)

Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
