Type specimen: AMNH 55152, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with p3-m3 and root for canine). Its type locality is Huerfano III, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Huerfano Formation of Colorado.
Distribution: found only at Huerfano III
