Type specimen: IGM 7969, a skeleton. Its type locality is IGM-3889, Huehuetla quarry, which is in a Turonian marine marl in the Agua Nueva Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at IGM-3889, Huehuetla quarry
