Type specimen: YPM 11765, a tooth (m3). Its type locality is Henry's Fork Hill (Bridger D), which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (9: California, Montana, Wyoming collections)

Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
