Type specimen: CM 15737, a tooth (left [lower] M3). Its type locality is Badwater Locality 5A, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Wagon Bed ("Tepee Trail") Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Canada (2: Saskatchewan collections), United States (1: Wyoming)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
