Type specimen: ROM 05622, a mandible (right dentary with p4). Its type locality is Swan Hills Site 1, which is in a Tiffanian fluvial-lacustrine shale/claystone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.

• Paleocene of Canada (2: Alberta collections), United States (1: Colorado)
