Sister taxa: Cedaromys bestia, Cedaromys minimus
Type specimen: OMNH 25747, a tooth (M1). Its type locality is Mussentuchit (OMNH V239), which is in a Cenomanian channel horizon in the Cedar Mountain Formation of Utah.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (8: Utah collections)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
